The beginning of a great trip

This is going to be a quick post, but wanted to get something up quick!

Mom, a family friend, grandma, and I are on a little adventure to Nebraska to visit the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, and we got into town tonight. We stopped at a cute little quilt store on the way and I found these goodies:

(The three prints front the left in the right pile I previously had, I found the little fat quarters to coordinate. And the cherries are for another future project, yet to be decided.)

And...I finished this beauty in the car! My 9-Patch is complete and I couldn't love it more!

*Sorry for not the best pictures....what do you expect from not so good hotel lighting....ergh

Off to play a couple rounds of cards with the ladies!

I went to the Lincoln Quilt Study Center last winter. Let me know what you think! We saw a nice show of antique quilts. I really enjoyed it, and they have a nice little gift shop, too.

Your nine patch is terrific, I can't believe you have it DONE! I'm jealous. :) Thanks for stopping by and leaving a link! -Allison
